Not Meant To Be

You and me. I wish it could be. If it was up to me It would certainly be.
I told you how I feel. You don't feel the same. Now I'm trying to heal From my shame.
I wonder why you said no. We have a lot to share. I've sunk to an all-time low. I don't even think you care.
I have finally given up. When someone finds me Then I won't feel like a slump. Eventually, I'll be happy.

ChangesWinter snow Spring rainbow Autumn leaves Summer seas
That's how everything used to be. Oh so pretty. But now that I'm older Everyone seems to be a little colder.
So much drama. No more Mama. Divorced parents. Therapy treatments.
Guys break your heart. Then they depart. Girls put the pieces back. And help you think of a comeback.
